Welcome to Chicana.Art. My name is Alisa, and I'm a first-generation Chicana artist based in the Pacific Northwest. My work is a celebration of heritage, resilience, and the beauty found in duality- honoring my roots while exploring the boundless possibilities of the creative world.
My journey began with painting murals, channeling ancestral stories and personal experiences into vivid, large-scale works. Over time, my art expanded into photography, filmmaking, fashion and sound design, allowing me to tell stories across multiple mediums. Whether capturing a fleeting moment through a lens or crafting abstract compositions that invite introspection, my work is deeply personal yet universally resonant.
Inspired by the intersection of cultures, histories, and identities, I aim to create art that connects, heals, and inspires. I am deeply committed to sustainability and innovation, blending traditional techniques with modern perspectives to honor the past while imagining the future.
Thank you for being here and for supporting this creative journey. Explore the galleries, connect with my work, and let's celebrate the stories that make us who we are. Together, we create. Together, we thrive.
